Drone X Challenge 2018

Building on the DISC 2018 success, we are announcing a global challenge aiming at pushing the frontiers of innovation in the drone technology.

2 Challenges Are Set:
Innovation in Maneuverability
Innovation in Transportation

DXC 2018 will is open to entrepreneurs, start-ups, R&Ds, university students, and companies. The winner should offer an innovative, inventive, or disruptive product/service, which is agile, original, and has scalable commercial applications.

DXC 2018 winner will receive a US$ 1,000,000.

 

Online applications can be submitted between August 15th, 2018 and March 10th, 2019. Submissions will be reviewed by the Krypto Labs Board of Experts, who will select a maximum of 20 shortlisted entries by April 1oth, 2019. From these shortlisted businesses, a jury of global experts in drone technology will select five finalists who will be invited to pitch to DXC 2018 jury members on the final day event, which will take place in Abu Dhabi in Summer 2019.

Up to 5 semifinalists will pitch their innovative business at Krypto Labs DXC 2018 final event.
A panel of industry experts will select a finalist applicant to be crowned as the DXC 2018 winner, to be rewarded US$ 1,000,000.

Criteria

Krypto Labs Drone X Challenge 2018 is open to both individual innovators and team-based projects or companies from anywhere in the world (subject to certain restrictions – to be announced soon).
The project must be centred around drone technology and must leverage the drone technology to meet DXC 2018 criteria; which will be announced soon
To enter, team-based start-ups, projects, or companies must select one person to submit the application and to serve as the team’s representative throughout the competition
